For my Learning Activity Design Assignment, I chose to do an infographic on the game “match to make 11”. This is a card game that I have observed while being a student teacher in a grade 1/2 class. It is an easy, fun game for students to play in their free time or as a math lesson to work on their addition skills. All it involves a partner and a deck of cards.
Reflection:
Since I am a second-year student at UVIC and I have little experience planning lessons, I wasn’t sure at first what to do my learning activity on. I chose to do this simple activity that I observed to practice step-by-step instructions on a fun poster (I’m not entirely sure why it turned out blurry I apologize). Seeing the EDCI 565 learners’ learning activities was really neat. I could sort of compare and contrast with my own design.
